Enrollment for Cherokee's summer program "Chief Explorers" is now open. This program is going to be so much FUN! There will be weekly themes and field trips!! The program will be available for students entering 1st-6th grade for the upcoming school year. The program will be held Monday-Thursday during the first 3 weeks in June. We hope to see you there!!

Enrollment for our 2023-2024 PreKindergarten is now open!! Space is limited to 20 students! Click on the link below to register your child. Once you have enrolled online we will need a copy of your child's birth certificate, social security card & an updated shot record to finalize the enrollment process.

Cherokee Chief Families:
Beginning on Monday April 3rd the Safe Routes to School sidewalk project will begin construction. We are being told this construction will begin at 7th and Nebraska by the Elementary School and work west down 7th toward Grand Ave. We are unsure at this time how long this project will impact traffic on 7th street. We do anticipate this causing some congestion and possibly slowing down our arrival and dismissal at the elementary. Please be patient as we work through any necessary changes. Alternate routes for students walking and riding bikes may need to be utilized while this project is going on. We will update you when and if those changes occur. Cherokee Schools and the Cherokee PD will continue to ensure a safe arrival and dismissal for all students.
