The Steve Hickman Invitational track meet scheduled for this Friday will be rescheduled for March 31st.

Reminder its Donuts with Dudes tomorrow morning from 7:45am to 8:15am at the elementary book fair. Students can bring a special person with them to enjoy a donut and shop the book fair.

Sophomores are selling t-shirts for baseball, softball and track! Prices range from $15-$23 depending on size & roster option. Order forms will be sent home with students on Friday & are due Tuesday, March 22. Order form is attached.

During the Elementary Book Fair we will have a coin competition!
Just a reminder 5/6 Grade & JH Cheer Practice will take place at the HS Gym today. Practice will end at 4pm and the girls can be picked up at the Gym Door.
8th Graders: You will tour Alva's NW Career Technology Center on Wednesday, March 2nd. You will be able to visit all the programs and learn about career opportunities. The bus will leave from the gym parking lot at 8:00 am and will return during your 4th period. This will be a great way to make some future plans!
Cherokee Students: Are you struggling with a few classes & need some extra help? Don't forget each Wednesday there will be a tutor at the Cherokee City Library from 3:30ish to 5:30. This is a FREE service to our Cherokee students courtesy of Upward Bound - NWOSU.

Cherokee Public Schools would like to congratulate Lake Lyon for being selected as a 2022 Academic All-Stater by the Oklahoma Foundation for Excellence. Academic All-State is one of the most challenging scholastic competitions, with extraordinarily high and multifaceted criteria. Only 100 students statewide are selected to receive this award.

Cherokee Seniors: We will be attending a Senior Symposium/Reality Check event on Friday, Feb 25th courtesy of the OSU Extension office and local organizations. You will be able to talk to local professionals and learn about important life concepts like, self-care, insurance, banking , finances and much much more! Please be at CHS to leave at 8:30 am. Lunch is provided for you and we will be back at school around 2:30 pm.
