Cherokee Families,
Last night at the school board meeting it was decided that facial coverings would no longer be required for staff and students 5th-12th grade. Wearing a mask will now be a personal choice and not required. All cleaning and sanitation efforts will continue as well social distancing when possible.

Our crews have worked hard today getting our facilities ready for students to come back safely, our sidewalks are cleared & they will be treated again first thing tomorrow. We are also very appreciative of the help from the City of Cherokee & Alfalfa County crews for coming & clearing our parking lot areas. The streets in town are still snow covered so please drive safe & allow extra time if needed. Temperatures will still be very cold tomorrow & Friday morning so please dress students appropriately.
Thank you & we look forward to seeing you tomorrow!
The Basketball Playoff Brackets have been updated.

Cherokee Public Schools will suspend virtual learning today and tomorrow due to the power outages & uncertainty of this situation. We will make a decision on returning to school on Thursday, sometime Wednesday afternoon/evening. The power outages & potential for more snow tonight will play a major part in this decision. Please stay safe & warm!
Due to the extremely cold temperatures and possibility of more snow on Tuesday. Cherokee Schools will be in virtual/remote learning Tuesday and Wednesday. Career tech bus will not run either of these days. Offices will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday, administrators and teachers will be available through school email. We will re-evaluate the situation Wednesday afternoon to make a decision for Thursday and Friday. Please stay safe and warm!

Reminder! No school on Monday!
