Cherokee Public Schools is proud to welcome Jeff Yalden for a return visit to Cherokee. Jeff will be meeting with teachers during inservice, student leadership groups throughout the week and will open up the school year with a community meeting Thursday, August 15th at 7:00 in the Cherokee Auditorium. Everyone is welcome to come hear Jeff's message on teen motivation.

Enrollment will take place on August 7 & 8 from 9am to 3pm at both sites. If you have already enrolled online you still need to stop by the school and fill out a couple papers. It’s that time of year again!! There will be a football parent meeting for any one playing 5th-12th football on Tuesday, August the 6th at 6pm in the HS cafeteria. We will discuss necessary paperwork, schedules and expectations for this coming season. The meeting will only last 30 minutes.
Following the parent meeting we will have a HIGH SCHOOL ONLY PLAYERS meeting at the fieldhouse starting at 6:30pm. All HS football players need to be in attendance. If you are out of town and unable to attend please contact Coach Schanbacher in advance.

Cherokee Public Schools is pleased to announce that all students will have their school supplies provided for them again this year! All you will need to provide is a backpack. Some of the elementary students will need to provide classroom snacks and a nap towel. Supplies will be in their classrooms on the first day of school.
We are also excited to be able to provide breakfast and lunch at no charge! We do ask that EVERYONE fills out a free and reduced form when you come to finalize enrollment.

JH Girls Basketball Players - the bus will leave at 9:00am on Monday, June 3 to go to camp at NWOSU. Cost is $20. Please bring your release form signed.
Career Academy 2019. Our Cherokee Chiefs were represented by Hope Jordan and Carson Schanbacher. AEC is one of the sponsors of the Career Academy along with other area businesses. AEC was represented by Terry Ryel who also serves as a mentor for the program.
